Tell me why you enjoy your Android device better than BB too, just interested in peoples opinions.

I've used BBs for years. I decided to switch over to Android for the awesome web browsing experience. I'm so glad I did. I only use gmail, so the email is just as good as the bb to me. Not to mention the ton of apps available in the market. Make the switch. You'll ne happy you did.

did you find you used a lot more data than you did with a BB, i find i don't use a lot with my BB, but that is compressed data, Android isn't.

I've been a BB user for years too, but recently came across an unmissable deal on a brand new Desire HD so am giving the Android platform a chance for a few weeks to get a feel for how it performs in 'real-world' usage.
Really liking it so far, although definitely still learning.
Have got rid of the 9780, but not quite ready to sell my Torch just yet though...

is the desire hd not a very popular device? this part of the forum seems rather desolate. is there a reason for that?

This being a Stateside site, you'll find a lot more info/people in the Inspire 4G forum.
Same device essentially, rebranded for US release.

I think I'm right in saying that only we in Europe got the DHD.

I just made the switch from a Blackberry Storm recently. Loving it so far. The difference is night and day! We have the DHD here in Canada on the provider Telus.

I'm freshly over from BB Bold 9000. Boy what a jump. Really no comparison. I'm really loving the HD. This phone is providing a rich experience from the interface to the browser, to the market, etc. So glad I made the jump.

Same as mate. The DHD is fabulous, the only thing I haven't liked so far is the battery life. Android usability knocks BB OS out with a right hook!
