Hi guys. I just picked up the HTC Desire HD on Friday. I am looking to find a task manager for it that will allow me to kill the apps that I do not want running. I tried one app killer from app world but it seemed that my battery life actually got worse when I left it running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Android is designed to have running apps in the background. A task-killer won't to your phone any favours. Try juice defender to save your battery, works a treat

I tried the juice defender app and it works great. i am getting almost a day and a half of battery life with mild use.
