Touch screen unresponsive after HTC update
I just updated my HTC Desire S; it's now running Android 2.3.5, Sense 3.0, Software 2.10.401.8.
I hate it! The touch screen has become very unresponsive. When typing at my regular speed (which isn't that fast), it misses half of the keypresses. Flipping/scrolling has do be done really slowly or it doesn't register.
Is there any way I can reverse this update or solve this issue? There doesn't seem to be any settings entry for the touch screen. - 07-29-2012, 07:17 AM #2

Re: Touch screen unresponsive after HTC update
The problem resolved itself over a couple of hours. I suspect that the phone was doing all kinds of updates and directory scanning in the background. I'm not that happy with all the updates though; it seems to be a bit more stable (fewer crashes), but e.g. the spinning desktop after each unlock I could have lived without.
