Why isn't my HTC Desire 500 turn on?

my htc desir 500 is not turning on

if pulg wall charger only red led is blinking ,after removing battery from my cell and i pulged my charger again the red led is blinking after removing the battery also .so how to on

Welcome to Android Central! Let the battery charge up overnight on a wall outlet, without disturbing it. If it still doesn't come on, then the battery may have failed--try a new one.
