"They said that the Nexus One took the smartphone to a new level and the term 'superphone' has been used a few times. If that's the case then I don't know what superlative I would use for the HTC Desire. Uber-phone perhaps?"

I moved to the Desire from an N95. I already had an iPod touch but the Flash support was a major selling point for me, as I am a Flash developer. The only thing I miss from the iPod is the cursor positioning in text entry. There doesn't seem to be an equivalent of the hold-and-roll to shift the cursor sideways a letter or two. But then, we also don't have the "show what's under your finger" feature either.

Other than that, I love the phone. So many parts of it are excellent.
