Rooted, now what ROM

Im rooting my friends Eris and i dont see any good ROMs.

I found links to xtrasense 5.0.1 was there really any hardcore development for this phone?

xtrSENSE is a great, Sense based stock 2.1 Eris ROM. If you want something more, there are a couple of good Gingerbread/CM7 based ROMs (GSB and CondemnedSoul CM7.)

I think that the best place to find ROMs is on xda-developer's site, here:

GSB is here:
Condemned is here:

I think GSB requires that you flash Google apps after flashing the ROM, while Condemned has them incorporated, though read the OP for each to make sure.

I flashed xtrSENSE to it because my friend really isn't a power user and wanted something stock but faster. I probably would have used the ROMs you suggested. Maybe in the future I'll use that phone to test out those ROMs.
