Me too.. tried the tube app and no workie.... checking other stuff right now. I wonder if tethering outside of pda net will work now. Say maybe vzaccess...

This is what you should show after the update. Mine updated, but it didn't take, so I had to update again. I just got it OTA.

Firmware remains 1.5 (no change here)

I just received a replacement Eris that shows a software version of 1.12. If the new update is 1.17, wiil it include the fixes that 1.16 was supposed to include?

I talked to a Verizon rep and he said its.to address the issue with the 3g network. My 3g worked intermetantly but after the recent update its been working and it seems a little faster.

Increased memory

I've notice a HUGE difference in the memory handling ability after the update from 1.12 to 1.17. About 40-60 MB in some cases.

actually crack monkey makes a good point, dbirl528 made the comment to bring this post up to the top, and yes 2.1 is coming i've already got the leaked version so its coming... quarter is ALMOST over.

no OTA just yet.
