Problem - Phone icon auto redials the last contact

When I press the Phone icon on the Home screen, the one at very bottom, it dials the last contact that I spoke with. It doesn't bring up the call screen anymore. It's like a default was set for that specific button. If I press the physical phone button, the Call screen comes up normally. Anybody have this issue? Can't find where to turn it off.

Have never seen this issue. I recommend powering the phone off then back on to reset Sense UI or do a battery reset (remove battery then put back on - power on phone).

If none of that works, I would contact HTC support...
