Using HTC Incredible 2, Verizon and Handsent SMS app

I have disabled the stock messaging notifications and everything else I can find.

PROBLEM: When I receive a text from someone who sent it to multiple addressees I see ALL their responses. I just want to see the string between me and the person who sent the original text. Can't figure how to fix this. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!
