Sorry, but since I am new to Android I am not sure what windows animation is. I love the ROM so far. Can you educate a noob on what it is?

Did you notice how the windows sorta float in very smooth instead of just appear? For example, press the power button like you are going to reboot the phone and watch the animation of the power app.... Its subtle but appeasing!

When I flash my GF's Evo it erases everything, this one saved all my apps/etc whats the difference?

This will automatically preserve apps and settings if you so desire. This is doable but not recommended. I recommend a clean wipe and factory reset.

If you wipe erase now make sure you re-flash the ROM!!!

Yes, all the kernels in the kernel manager can be OC'ed to at least 1.7GHZ. RCMix goes as far as 2.0GHZ but I never am stable with anything past 1.7 myself.

I'm finding 1.5 to be my sweet spot. Nice and snappy but reliable.

Did you see the new no lights kernel? Reduces the brightness of the capacitive buttons tremendously. Also keeps the notification led blinking indefinitely until you acknowledge the notification. This is an override from the default 5minutes.

Oh and look at this....

Someone has done exactly what I needed them to do! Im testing this and the new kernel I just noted right now.

question....i updated to 1.2 friday and i am planning on flashing 1.3 today, so do i delete the 1.2 zip file from my sd card when flashing 1.3 or do i have to keep it there indefinitely? Thanks for the help!

Nope after flashing the rom you can dump the zip. I usually leave a copy on my computer just in case.
