    Default S-off/root on Mac?

    Is this possible as of now ?

    I only see windows and linux being supported at this time. You can always try to Is mac OS close enough to linux to work? Just asking because I know nothing of mak other than its derived from unix (I think) like linux.

    I rooted mine on parallels running windows xp. If that's an option, it worked perfectly for me.

    Either do what the last poster said.. or run a live version of ubuntu and do it that way

    If Parallels works that's great. If you can install a full-fledged copy of Windows via Bootcamp, even better.

    Yea tried with the ubmutu test. But my Mac was given to be my school and it shows a lock and needs a pass when I try to run from boot

    It's a guide of how I did it. The stuff in blue is probably needed in any Mac interface to fastboot.

    i really want to unlock my bootloader but im running mac os does anyone know of a good video or written walkthrough that will help me do it

    go to htcdev.com and sign up.. if you did latest update your set to go and follow the walk through there to unlock bootloader via htc.

    well i know i saw the mac files you would need umm does mac not have some kind of command prompt ??
