Roms on sd card

How are you guys getting your Roms onto your sd card because I try to hook up my phone with the use cable and mount as disk drive and it doesn't see my sd card so I was wondering if there was some other way to get it onto my sd card

On the phone you need to choose USB Disk mode when you hook it up to your PC. You have to press done before it will then mount on your pc. If it doesn't prompt you then you have it set to automatically charge only probably. You will need to change it to prompt in your settings. If for some reason it is set to prompt and it's not then it could be a bad usb cable too.
