Well, I wasn't rooted and s-on and I made the mistake of applying the OTA. So now I'm on hboot 1.50.00, so revolutionary won't work.

If I go back to a previous version, will it preserve the 1.50 hboot or it will go back to 1.30 or 1.40 an then I will be able to use revolutionary, or it will stay?

I read that it wont but I have not had the time to test it out.

You can always unlock with HTC tool now. Its live and allows you to not need the revolutionary tool anymore. See here: HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader

I'm in the same situation

I did the unlock thing, it still leaves S-on, and people are reporting left and right that they cant flash customer recovery or anything, I guess HTC did what they said, they only unlocked the bootloader.

People report alot of things but that doesnt mean its true nor the steps they followed are accurate.

A lot of newbs post things they really dont know anything about.
