Need Help Major Phone Issues

OK, so I bought my phone from EBAY with Clean Rom already installed. Looking back on it I should have just left it on, but I decided to unroot, and did so successfully. everything was running great for over a month but in the past couple days, I can't click the three buttons on the bottom of the screen (apps, phone, personalize. Well, sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. Its not a touch screen issue because when I use other programs, that part of the screen works fine. Also sometimes when I use the phone ap, I can't dial the number "3" which is really annoying.

Anyway, what I want to do is completely reset the phone to the oldest version possible.

I tried repeating the steps the same way I unrooted it, but after loading PG86IMG in the hboot, the phone says "main version is older! update fail!"

I am running 2.3.4, and hboot1.5 (one of these is the problem? I am assuming)

If some1 could give me a dumbed down version of how to reset my phone please let me know. I'm talking 5th grade reading level lol, I am extremely frusterated with this, and any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

its seems that the ROM ic currupted I would download flash image GUI its 2.99 in the market then go to scottsroms.com and download cleanrom 2.9.5 and go into flash image GUI and locate the ROM and hit ok what that program does is it goes through the Rome zipfile and finds the kernel and flashes the kernal bat file once flashed via flash image make sure the ROM is on the root of your SD card go ahead and boot into recovery and wipe date.factory then wipe cache then dalvic cache then flash the ROM once done yoouu should.be good.to go
