    Default Question about freezing and sprint's WiFi tether app

    So I read somewhere on the web that you can freeze your tether program that came with the device and it will work and Sprint will not detect it. In this case its Sprint's hotspot app. Did anyone else hear about this? Cause I have a rooted 3vo with WiFi tether app and titanium back up pro. I was thinking if it does work, I can delete the tether app and freeze and use the native app.

    By freezing an app you are making sure that it doesn't run. I don't think the method you are describing would work.

    You have to be rooted to freeze any app.
