I rooted my phone using the HTC dev method.... well I guess it wasn't really a root. PHone says "unlocked" S-ON.
I was able to install superuser and the free wifi tethering. I can't however- install roms. I used to do it and get some "superuser" force closes; and it wouldn't install the rom.

When I install a rom from the premium clockwork mod program- it goes through the motion and restarts but only to the stock HTC sense.

Any guesses as to what I need to do ?:(

You are right, that wasn't rooting, that was unlocking.

I would suggest that you read the OP of the rom that you are trying to install once again. I also would say that you should install your ROM in Clockworkmod manually instead of going through ROM manager. It is a good program, but sometimes more trouble than it is worth.

If what i am saying to you makes no sense, then you need to read more before you flash away. I am not being rude to you by saying that, it is just that you should know everything that I just stated before you move forward
