Can I Still download AndroidOS Software Updates On A Rooted Device?
If I Rooted my phone, would I still be able to download the AndroidOS software updates, or would downloading the updates damage the Rooting?

No you will not be able to take any OTA but will not damage your either. The OTA will not take on a custom recovery. The Roms dev shuld update the rom new updates or if your s-off you flash the new firmware when the devs get everything sorted

Re: Can I Still download AndroidOS Software Updates On A Rooted Device?
So if I Root my phone, then I will have to update the Rooted software manually? Is the software for Rooting not part of the AndroidOS? I'm thinking about Rooting my phone, but I just need to understand it more first. Does Rooting effect the AndroidOS version, or is the Rooting software
Completely different software?
