Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
No cuz I'm past the 30 days plus I don't think the photon is any different from the evo. Also photon may not be able to be rooted cuz its motorola.

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
Help no, the photon looks like someone is trying a little too hard to make it look futuristic and the specs are not better so why side-grade I only upgrade.

No way. The Photon has a pentile display and motoblur (dont call it motoblur!).

Re: Moved From the EVO 3D to the Photon?
Ask me that question a few weeks ago, I would have told you HELL YA! The EVO 3D was so frustrating and would lock up, random start, not syncing with my bluetooth, etc. I did many factory hard resets and it didn't solve anything. Then I figured out that it was the settings from Google that kept syncing everytime I would hard reset. It was my settings carrying over. Once I stopped syncing with Google and started everything fresh, the 3D has been flawless. (Knock on wood) So at this time...no I would not return my 3D for the Photon.

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
I do wish the Evo 3D had a kickstand but Sense 3.0 (vs Motoblur), the developer community for HTC devices in general, and the uncertainty surrounding whether or not root will ever be available for the Photon is more than enough to convince me to stay with the 3D. While HTC phones are not without their flaws, I've found I tend to be happier with them in the long run vs phones from Motorola and Samsung.

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
Definitely not returning. I have not had any issues with the 3D. N nothing against Moto, but I prefer HtC. The photon looks pretty sweet, but nothing there to make me wanna give up my EVO...

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
No offense to Moto, but I'm sticking with the Evo 3D. The only reason I would consider switching is for the world support, but I don't travel nearly enough to make it worth it.

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
I dunno! It took me 3 hours of phone time to get it free! :P
I even got it over night. Was gonna take my 3 lines of service back to Verizon...They didn't want me to leave! (Guessing they don't wanna lose anymore people!)

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
I played with the Photon today. I must admit...it is a really nice device. Its smooth, fast and responsive. But I dont like Blur in the least. It may grow on me to be honest but I dont foresee it taking the place my Evo 3D has in my heart.

Re: Returning the Evo 3D for the new Sprint Motorola Photon 4G?
Nope, completely satisfied with my EVO 3D. It handles whatever I throw at it quickly, smoothly and with no hiccups. The specs are basically equal but the photon isn't aesthetically pleasing to my eye so if I was to leave the 3D I guess the galaxy s II would be my next device. That being said, I'm not going anywhere for at least the next year. Like someone above me said, each new phone for me needs to be a definite upgrade over the last one. I wouldn't go from one 1.2ghz dual core phone to another.
