Easiest way to take screenshots
I read other threads about screen shots and everyone has either rooted or downloaded apps. You guys are making this WAY too hard.
Here is all you have to do:
1. Hold down the power button and press the home button
You will then see the message "screenshot saved in camera shots"

Re: Easiest way to take screenshots
Thanks! Is it just my phone, or is that power button much harder to press down than it should be?

Re: Easiest way to take screenshots
I think we've established this..... Theres about 3 other threads with this information.
Though, I know you had good intentions, so thanks, anyways! - 08-25-2011, 10:26 PM #4

Re: Easiest way to take screenshots
Mine's about twice as hard to push as the Pre was. It shouldn't be much more than that. The first time I took the battery cover off and put it back on I noticed the power button was a little cocked, so now I slide the phone into the top of the battery cover first. You could stop by Sprint and compare the power button to a demo if in doubt.

Tip: Capture screen image on UNROOTED HTC EVO 3D!
Just want to tell how to "take a picture" of the screen... Is simple, just hold the lock/unlock(power) button and home button at the same time, sorta like the iPhone way...
Here is an example(the sample pic is where I got the tip)
