New update for EVO 3D? 8/26

Just got this notification today to update two things.... Something about widgets and corp4g...don't know what it actually means but just wanted to notify. Just in case I have installed the new update that came august 18, 2.3.4

Here's the corp 4g widget...at least I haven't seen it before .....

I believe that has to do with enterprise stuff...as the name Corp 4G (Corporate 4G)...that's my opinion

I wonder if you can use the 4G from other <corp> providers if Sprint doesn't cover you in your area. Like Clearwire or something.

Since the update I have noticed that my 4g signal is a lot stronger. I am now getting 4g in places at work that I have never gotten it before, the bathroom lol... Also I tried to play with the corp 4g but it does not appear to week when I toggle between the 2 4g's.. Anyway good update since it appears our 4g is stronger.

I shoulda tried right now, but all my previous tests have been around 3M. Today's test after update gave me 10+M FWIW

The average seems to be around 8.5M over 1/2 hr

Located in Silicon Valley.

I read a comment on xda that the 4G was faster, so I did a few speed tests before I updated, and after the update and it download speeds are substantially faster after. I didn't move my phone, sitting indoors in a hotel conference room. Prior to update I was getting consistently around 1700 kbps down, after the update I am getting consistent 4000 kbps + down.

OK I can not update. It finds the update but it keeps saying "not enough free temp space available " I have never seen that before

I did a battery pull and still the same message. Any advice?

What is the rosie utility? I noticed it in my applications manager. I don't know if it was there before or not.

It is there before the update. Another forum note indicates it is part of Sense and is on the EVO 4G too,

I seem to be having 2 issues since the update:

* The GPS widget won't turn GPS on/off. Have to go through the settings menu
* My phone doesn't seem to be looking for the 4G network. I usually keep it off, but after reports of improvement in signal/speeds I wanted to give it a try. But I have 4G on, but disconnected. And I can't get it to search for a signal.

Definitely a stronger, more consistent 4G signal. Speed seems to consistently be >3Mbps too. Big fan of this update!

Sooo I tried turning on and off the GPS with HTC's widget and like you say, it doesn't turn on or off....and to make matters worse, it actually makes my Sense force close!!!! I'm a bit mad but you can still use the stock power controller or the one located on the notification bar in Quick Settings
