Ok, so a friend of mine has an EVO3D and has been having uptiem/awake time issues (they are basically the same). He asked me to power down my phone, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on.
I did that. To my surprise, my phone came back on nearly instantly. But it did have to reload everything when I did. It's like powering it off just put it into hibernate instead of actually turning off. And looking at my uptime/awake time... it hadn't reset.
Rebooting takes a good while... 30-45 seconds or so. I haven't pulled the battery yet. Mostly because I don't want to take my case off. I looked at my uptime/awake time... it reset.
Anyone else notice this? I hadn't tried this prior to the last update.
