PRL question
Before trading my Photon for my 3D a few days ago, I checked the Photon's PRL and it was 50581. The EVO Shift I had before that was also 50581. Yet my 3D has a PRL of 50580. I have run the PRL update but it stays at 50580. Is this normal? Shouldn't it update to 50581 across the board on these phones?

Re: PRL question
I don't know if PRLS are standard for all phones but there have been a lot of people who have noticed drastically reduced 3G speeds with the 50580 on the EVO 3D. I ended up going back to the previous PRL because of this very issue. There are a couple of methods for reverting floating around on the forums. One for rooted and one nonrooted.
Please thank me if I have helped!

Re: PRL question
I reverted back to the old PRL, but saw no improvement on my 3G speed. Guess I'll be heading back into Sprint on Tuesday.

Re: PRL question
My EVO3D was stuck on 1x on the 50580 prl until I downgraded tonight. Still haven't hit a meg speed wise like I used to, but I'm close.

Re: PRL question
My evo 3d is on 1x and my wives EVO is rev a and I have the phones right next to each other. This didn't happen til after the prl update so it must have something to do with the signal other than roaming

Re: PRL question
Yes, 21081 is the one that you need to revert to if you updated to the 50580 one. After I reverted I was back on 3G instead of 1XRTT. Luckily this isn't something that gets pushed out that you have to take. You don't receive constant nags if you don't update. Stay on 21081!

Thank you, nonentheless.
EDIT:

Re: PRL question
Just saw that Sprint re-released the 21081 PRL. If you haven't already reverted, you may want to update it again because that 50580 has messed up a lot of people's 3G speeds.
