Security upgrade out for Evo 3D

The HTC EVO 3D is reportedly receiving a 9MB maintenance upgrade. Users were prompted of version 2.08.651.3 this morning. I downloaded it, so it's confirmed.

I haven't received any notification yet. I checked on the device itself but it's telling me there are currently no updates available.

Has anyone noticed that the update breaks their Wi-Fi. I can't connect to the internet now. Every time I try to load a page, says page failed to load. I go into settings for Wi-Fi and says disconnected even though it's checked. And i don't see the wi-fi icon in the top bar either.

I'm rooted and on 1.5 and every time I do the update I get the triangle exclamation point error and I have to do a battery pull. I tried it three times no dice on the update.

So every time I do an update, it resets my "Skin" to the HTC(default) one, anyone else have this problem?

I thought that was only a PRL update...not a software update.

After the PRL fiasco I'll wait 3 days to see if there are any glitches. My E3D is working perfectly and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm not rooted and it messed up mine. It was an easy fix of reloading, but annoying.

As we say here down South...if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I'm on CleanROM right now anyway, so I'm sure if it is worth including scrosler will incorporate it.

Me and a few other people that I know have been having problems receiving calls after the update. My phone will start ringing, but I'm unable to answer so it just keeps ringing. Anyone else have this problem?

I have been having this issue lately on my EVO 3D .. The phone rings and shows the incoming call screen but it is completely locked up.. the touch screen is unresponsive and none of the hardware buttons work. It will just keep ringing. (I left it ringing for 2 minutes and then removed the battery to stop it.) :/
