The my EVO 3D is starting to form a white spot on the screen about 1.5 inches from the bottom. The white spot is almost identical to the one that formed on my EVO 4G. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is the processor under this spot? Looks like others have the same issue in the XDA forums.

Upload a picture if you can so we can see exactly where the spot is.

Also if you take a screen shot and it doesn't show up then my guess is it would be a hardware issue starting up.

Sounds exactly like the issue with the 4G, it was a heat issue. I had the screen on my 4G replaced 3 times. From my experience with my 4G, there is nothing you can do.

The white spot looks exactly like the spot on my EVO 4G and it's definitely a hardware heat issue. It's centered about 1 1/4" from the left side of the screen and about 1 1/4" from the bottom of the screen. It's a little difficult to take a picture of the white spot.

Had this issue with og 4g but not on my 3D (knock on wood)
