Super delay in getting texts?

Today, I thought everyone I texted was ignoring me, and then, about half an hour ago, I got literally eight texts all at once. This has never happened before. I've been using data throughout the day though. Does anyone know if this is a phone problem or maybe caused by spotty signal?

Its more or less the signal or the network. I have had days where I wake up to 8-9 texts that I didn't get the day before. So much for "The now network"! So I am betting on the network more than the phone. Pre would do it every now and then too.

This happened to me this weekend. All my texts since Friday afternoon were delayed until Sunday night. The recipients received them all at once.
