Greetings every body!

So I now have my Evo 3D and I have been using it a lot with the GPS. have noticed that its ALWAYS incorrect about my location. Its normally in the correct town but miles off from where I really am. So this throws apps off like Google Maps, TeleNav, Foursquare and Yelp! Its driving me INSANE.

Now in the GPS menu with the locations I have the following checked...Use Wireless networks, Allow network to detect me. Use GPS satellites and phone finder. So is the GPS just not updating it self? I know when I open the apps I can see it trying to update I think. (Satellite icon comes on and you can see its animation going on.) Yet it still off. So is there an option I could be missing? Id like it to be correct and I dont know why its not working.

My phone has all of its updates and is currently NOT rooted. Its 100% stock. Any help would be great! Even if I can tell my phone to update when opening these apps? I dont know I have looked around and still no anvil!

Thanks for all of your help!

You will need your MSL code to do this. Since you do not have root you can try to call Sprint and ask for it, in this case it may work to tell them what you are doing.

Open the dialer and type ##gpsclrx# it will ask for your password (MSL code), after running that it should tell you the phone will restart, it probably won't. Restart the phone manually and try to open google maps and see if it gets your location.
