Default Evo3D no longer available on Sprint's website

I saw this on another site and checked for myself, the Evo3D is not on Sprint's website anymore. Is this the beginning of the end?

They have stopped selling it online from what I was told also! So many older phones are still being sold and there top phone IMO is cancelled! I really don't get it.

No surprise. All Wimax 4g phones are on the chopping block now that Sprint is doing there own 4g LTE.

Does it HTC washed their hands off of EVO 3D? That's pretty alarming. I buoght mine just last month.

I don't think they are abandoning the phone, they are just going to stop producing it. There is another thread where HTC replied to someone stating that ICS is on its way.

As for the phone, the fact that its 4g and not LTE means that its going to end up running a band that will not be used by sprint therefore, why produce the phone.

I still think the phone is great in general. QHD, 1.2 dual core, 3d... My friends ask me on a regular basis if they can use my phone to watch trailers in 3d... thats a cool feeling.

Sprint has killed off the EVO 3D after only ten months.

Yeah it sucks but its the reality sadly. It still lived a good life! I liked mine. Sadly I will not live on to see the HTC Evo 4G LTE I hope it does well and lives longer than the 3D did!
