I'm buying a white EVO 3D for $270
With no EVO LTE in sight, I am about to buy a 3DVO for $270.
It's a little higher than normal price because it's white.
Is that a good decision? I will save my upgrade for early 2013, when I will get LTE. - 05-18-2012, 05:37 PM #2

if you don't mind paying a little more than normal for a white version of the phone then go for it. It's an awesome phone.

Thanks. I'm glad that this phone sees the external sd as /sdcard.
For some reasons, most android phones will use the internal memory as /sdcard and put the sd card as /sd-ext. - 05-18-2012, 06:53 PM #4

No! Don't do it I had the evo3d and hated it. The camera is horrible . Sense is really buggy and the hardware is cheap . My bezel came off and I never even dropped it, not once. I got the gnex and its awesome

Disagree.
I have my evo 3d for couple of months and I find this extremely capable phone. Build quality Is far better than GNex as it have metal bezel making it more sturdy unlike gnex which is all plastic. I agree the camera is bad but I don't use mobile phone camera.

I just use Hi3D Lite. Though it only uses pics that are already on your phone and it shows you how your 2D pictures would look in 3D.

Re: I'm buying a white EVO 3D for $270
FYI, were almost in mid 2012 and new phones are being released. By the time your early 2013 upgrade comes around it will almost be time for next years models to be available. So by then the question is do i get an EVO 4G LTE or the replacement for it.

The camera isn't as good as most other comparable phones. Also the external speaker is pretty weak. Besides that the hardware is really good. Software is Sense. If you know Sense, then you know what to expect from the software. I expect you'll be very happy with the phone until next year.

Darn! Sprint didn't cancel my LTE preorder.

It was a good week, EVO 3D. I will miss you. - 05-25-2012, 02:35 PM #17
