Sprint ICS update now live!!!
This needed a new thread. Go check your phones for the update
Let's use this space to talk about our impressions of the updated OS so we don't have to filter through the cluttered anticipation threads.Last edited by mastrK13; 07-31-2012 at 08:56 AM.

It is not here in Denver yet. Do I have to go back to the factory recovery before I update?

Re: Sprint ICS update now live!!!
Anyone having problems with Swype? It won't even open for me and I can't access the data clearing from the manage apps menu. It just says computing and won't let me do anything about it.
EDIT: I take that back. It just let me clear the data (which is one fix Epic 4G people suggested). I'll come back with the results if anyone else is having similar problems.
EDIT #2: Cleared the data and now it works perfectly.Last edited by jon.vanderlaan; 07-31-2012 at 01:34 PM.

The default HTC keyboard, you cant take auto correction. -___________- guess I'm getting a new keyboard. Well I loved this phone but tho ics was comming. I decided to leave it for the HTC one x. I love my 3d but sprints data speeds i can't bear. And I'm not paying full price for the 4g lte lol. The one x is only 100. :P Peace out guys.

Re: Sprint ICS update now live!!!
The only time I had an issue with SwiftKey, I simply deleted data, force closed, uninstalled and then reinstalled it. I haven't had any issues since even with betas.

Re: Sprint ICS update now live!!!
Downloaded first thing this morning (Duluth, Minnesota). No problems at all. Download went fine and all apps are working as they should. Everything is running very snappy! Face recognition works great and I like being able to "disable" certain apps. Other than that, not a major change other than looking a bit flashier. Have had my 3D for close to a year and other than having the original battery go bad I have never had a single problem. No rebooting, freezing up, dropped call or anything. Best phone I've ever had and this update will keep it feeling fresh until my upgrade in November!
