Hi ok so in my text messaging with some people it displays the phone number in parentheses next to the name...it recently started doing this as it wasnt always like that. im just wondering if there is a way to stop it from doing that? ive noticed if i unlink it from facebook then it goes away but again alot of these contacts were already linked with facebook before and were not displaying the number so something else has changed to cause it just wondering if anyone could help me out with that.

Did you change any settings by chance not knowing you did ?

Clear data from the messaging app.

(Settings - Applications - Messaging - Clear data)
