If I monut a larger Sd card in my phone can I install more apps. I know there's an allocated size in ICS.

Yes, as long as you can install apps to the external SD card. If not, placing a bigger SD Card into the phone will not help in increasing the amount of apps you can install on your device.

I can install to Sd card, however I was told at best buy when you fill up the on board storage on your phone you can only install that amount on Sd. I have 32 gig in my phone and I'm out of memory only after installing 90 apps. Not rooted.
