Don't like the bloat-apps? Just delete them.
Just try it.

Tell us how

Yea you're gonna have to expand on this a little. If you could simply delete it no one would make such a big deal about it.

Please, do tell us how...
And also, can you confirm that it actually deletes the bloatware and doesnt just hide it. - 06-22-2011, 04:15 PM #8

How much space did it free up in your internal memory (if any)?
Out of the box, I believe the EVO 3D has about 1 GB of internal space free out of the 4 GB that is advertised. How much space did you get back by "deleting" the bloatware apps?--Inspector Gadget

Never had an android/htc phone before. I'm coming from the Pre. Could someone please elaborate on how to uninstall an app? Thanks.

from the homescreen hit the menu button->settings->applications->manage applications then the "all" tab find nascar in the list tap it and then you should see an uninstall button.
This is how it would go on the old EVO so some of the steps might be a little different - 06-22-2011, 05:26 PM #20
Holy Crap! You can delete the Nascar App! I just did it. I was skeptical, but the "uninstall" button was there, I clicked it, it warned me that the app would go bye-bye, I proceeded, and got the confirmation message that the app was uninstalled. It is indeed gone from the app drawer. As for how much space it save, I can't say, as I did not check before hand (thinking it would not work). The Blockbuster app is the same way. This is truly awesome.

Let me get this straight. With the EVO, you can now delete all of the bloatware? When did this happen? Can you delete Sprint TV, and telenav?
