Stock EVO 3D...Getting continuous Force Close messages for every app. I click Force Close - but the messages continue coming. I've restarted the phone multiple times and pulled the battery a few times as well. I can't access settings, etc - due to the constanct stream of Force Close messages. Thoughts as to what to try next?

Have you tried a factory reset yet?

Exactly what is a "factory reset" - as in what are the steps?

Go into settings/sd, phone storage and you will see factory reset option. Reverts phone back to "right out of the box condition".

Thanks for the suggestion. Performed a hard reset and now seems to be ok. Thanks again.

There is no way to silence it. Funny, I never even noticed it to much until you mentioned it lol. It is not that loud to begin with.

So about a few weeks ago from one day to the next, my headphones were working so i figured i needed new headphones but then i come to find out that they are fine when i plug them into my laptop. So it turns out that my headphone jack mysteriously stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the solutions to fixing it in the end? Thanks!

I would try this,, shut device off and take battery out just to be safe. Take a cue tip and mostien it with rubbing alcohol,, gently insert into jack and spin slowly. I have done this in the past with other devices with same issue and it worked. Could be just dust.

Hi there.

I`m owner of my HTC Evo 3d for 3 months. It`s okey, only battery life really sucks)

One week ago I got problem.
When I press on power button, to get off from standby mode, bottom buttons light`s up, then turns off, then light`s up, and screen enables, but this happens not always. I can press my power button 10 times, and there will be no problem. On 11th time, that annoying problem. Stock ROM. Tried soft reset, nothing...same problem. Anyone?
