I know the screen is smaller on the 3d than the screen on my 4g. Is the 3d screen the same size as the evo shift or is the size in between the shift and 4g?

It is the same 4.3" size just longer and skinnier on the evo 3d so you can get the true 16:9 ration

The screen is still technically 4.3", its just in a 16:9 aspect ratio (which I've heard makes it feel much better in the hand/pocket). I can't remember the exact square inches of each but i think the 3D is only about 1/4 of a square inch smaller than the OG Evo, but it has a higher resolution. The 3D's screen is still much larger than the Evo Shift.

Yes, it's been mentioned in many reviews and hands-on videos. The evo 3d is slightly narrower but taller in order to be better held in your hand.

no thats not right. the evo3d has a higher resolution display meaning you are seeing more of everything. take the internet browser, you see quite a bit more webpage at the bottom than on the evo4g. I'd guess the same with the 7 home screens.

The actual screen size is EXACTLY the same ... I have screen protectors for my Evo 4G that I put on my E3D and it fits the EXACT same same way .
