Re: Screen in outdoor light?
The EVO 3D has a light sensor too, so the screen auto adjusts.
I would say that the screen on the EVO is very good, but from my experience its NOT as bright as the Samsung SAMOLED screens. The visibility on the EVO 3D isn't bad by all means, but not as good as my epic. If screen visibility in direct light is a deal breaker for you you, it might not be the best move.Last edited by liquidjesus; 06-27-2011 at 01:05 PM.

Re: Screen in outdoor light?
I find that in sunlight the screen is just barely passable at maximum brightness.

Re: Screen in outdoor light?
This phone's screen in sunlight is not a strong point, in fact it's pretty weak. Personally that doesn't bother me, I can turn around and use my body as shade, no biggie. I love this phone but if the screen in sunlight is a deal breaker, I'd say pass.
