Confirmed working. I have uploaded to my Dropbox. Enjoy guys.

Uninstall any previous version you have installed before trying to install this version.

EDIT: Updated to newest version. Fixes a little lag issue. Should also fix ability to use the rear camera.

Edit 2: Disregard below. I installed (after seeing this blow up on other forums too

- I can confirm it works find on my 3vo. You will probably want to uninstall any other versions first. Video calling works great! Thanks man!

Sorry- not to be an ungrateful jerk, but do you have a link to where this came from? Like an XDA thread? Not that I don't trust /you/ just best to be careful

I downloaded it and it is fine, but when it goes to the install.. it always give the error "not installed"

I was getting same error. I had to uninstall previous version. I used the link on phandroid.

I used the phandroid link as well before seeing this. Works fine. Called an iPhone 4 a few minutes ago. Pretty smooth, not flawless, locks in landscape but works!

I don't have my Evo 3D yet, but when I get it how do I go about downloading the app and installing it? I've never used an android device before so being specific will be a huge help.

I too came from the Pre. Don't know why I waited so long to switch, yet glad I did, got a great phone!

First go into your settings. Then go to applications and check mark unknown sources. Come back here and click on the link I provided on post 1. It will download. Once done. Pull down your notification bar and click on it. Then click install. And Viola! ;-)

Just don't forget to uninstall your current version of Skype, if you have one installed, from your phone first before installing this one.
