Evo 3d all of a sudden exp slow 3d speeds

My evo 3d was movin so fast even in 3 g speed and now today its crawlin in same areas with 3g .. wtf..

also noticed in network settings theres a setting to enable always on mobile data should this be on or off.. now when i hit 4g its working fine and in wifi.. what gives with 3g today and my phone , my girls epic in 3 g is going fatster

My 3G has been slow since I switched to Sprint when I got the Evo 3d on 6/22. Not sure if its the phone or the network is really slow.

Do a battery pull.

I noticed my EVO3D was pretty slow right off the bat as well. 4G was a joke. 200k down and 400k up.
After installing some apps i shut it off. Worked much better.
Also it could be location, netowork, tower, what ever.
Hell Wedensday i had no data on mine in 3G. It lost its data settings. I had to go into my data settings and do a reset connection.
I have never had a sprint phone do that to me ever.
Needless to say after a few days of using it all seems well.

Yes I am witness of the speed and tower relation. At work using the signal info map I right on top of the tower. I get over 2.2mb down on 3d but at home I hover around .9 to 1.5mb its up and down.

Don't know if this will help you but I had the same problem and updating my profile took care of it. Hey, it couldn't hurt to try!

I maybe having the same issue with slow 3g connection. How do you update the profile (I have no idea what this is)? Thanks.

Go to Settings, System Updates, then Update Profile. I hope this helps. It made a world of difference for me.

you guys can try, it is network congestion sometimes. I range from 500kb to 2mb at home depending on the time of the day I run the speed test. Like now the first test I got .65 the second I got 1.11mb the third time I got 1.25mb. each of these tests were run after existing the app and relaunching it. I have gotten 300kb too. It just depends on how close you are to the tower and how congested it is.

At work I am right on top of the tower and I get over 2mb all the time, last night at home around 1 in the morning I was getting over 2mb at home on 3g. It all depends. I can do profile update, or whatever doesn't help any. Most of the time I am around 1mb though at home.

I've discovered that during the spring/summer when the trees are full of leaves I get fewer bars of signal and much lower download speeds at home, a neighborhood with a lot of deciduous trees. I presume that the foliage blocks the signal.
