Changelog 1.4
All data setting are off by default. You will need to turn them on if you want to set everything up. This includes Mobile Data, wifi, and NFC. I will have this fixed in a future update, I just ran out of time on my mini vacation.

Working 1% battery!
Fixed Kindle app books not opening
It is now easier to set a default keyboard in settings
AOSP settings menu! (thanks to Art2Fly for this!)
Google Now (as always mikeyxda is the man!)
Thanks to t.o.m. for showing me the build.prop edit to remove the extra menu icon (we have a menu button, it was kind of pointless)
Jelly Bean Fonts
New boot and down animations by Team Clean contributer e.t.heil! You should really check out his work
Some other stuff, but I don't really remember (I should write this stuff down)
There are a few things that we tested that were not quite ready for prime time, but they will be soon.

Just flashed this update. It feels pretty zippy, I like it. Still playing around with it though, obviously.

Quick question, can I change the default font? Not wild about the Jelly Bean font, so I'm hoping this is customizable. Thanks!

There is an app in the market called Font installer or something like that that can change fonts. When I get time I can make a flashable zip with the old fonts if you want.

Camera question: I like the silent shutter, however, your mod seemed to take away the video/camera toggle, as well as burst mode, when accessing the camera via the hardware camera button. Also, after taking a single shot, I'm taken back to homescreen, instead of staying in the camera app. Is this by design?

Not sure if this is how CleanROM modded the camera, in general, because the missing features I mentioned are intact when I start the camera from the app drawer. But, then, I did install a mod to give me the Sense 4 stock camera, so that could be why the two ways of accessing the camera seem to be different.

That's just how the camera is set up. It not by design as much as it is by limitation. If I recall correctly this is the same way the camera functions in stock if you launch from a shortcut (the camera button). It will behave the same way If you launch it from the lockscreen.
99% of the time I launch it from a shortcut on my home screen dock.

I use UCCW (Ultimate Custom Clock Widget), to display weather, but it won't update. This led me to discover that stock Sense weather has been removed in CleanROM, which might be the cause of the problem, if that widget is looking for data from the stock weather service.

Can't seem to find any flashable zips to reinstall sense weather. Thoughts?

You can install any weather app from the Play Store to accomplish the same thing.

The strange thing is I already have WeatherBug installed, but UCCW doesn't seem to use it for data (UCCW has never updated since I flashed the new CleanROM and installed UCCW and WeatherBug). I'm wondering if UCCW is designed to piggyback directly off stock weather?

Since UCCW is pretty popular for customizing the look of our devices, I wonder if anyone else here is experiencing this issue, if it's ROM-related.

Also, sense weather just looks good, so it would be nice to have the option to use it :/

When I get the time (I have to borrow my wife's laptop anytime I work on this, mine lost a battle with gravity) I plan on making a few different add ons that will be flashable.
Also, can you link me to the app in question, I would like to test it out.

It's pretty robust, so there's a bit of a learning curve, but I've found the results to be worth it. Also, I just emailed the developer, so hopefully I get a response soon.

"Uccw gets weather data from Google as its free. In future more weather data providers may be added."

So, for now, it looks like Google's weather service needs to be active on any ROM for UCCW to run properly. I'm now wondering how many weather apps are just skins that actually piggy-back off Google's weather service to get their data.

Did you use 1.1 of my ROM? If so, did the weather work on it? I think the app polls weather data regardless of what weather service is installed on the phone. Sense weather for example uses Accuweather, not Google, so removing it should have zero effect on the app getting data from Google.

When I flashed CleanROM 1.1 originally, I hadn't yet installed UCCW, so not sure if it would've worked. I was using WeatherBug on 1.1, which worked fine. I'll nandroid my current setup and test it out later today.

I'm a moron. Flashed 1.1, installed UCCW and dropped in a weather widget, first showed up as generic text, but set weather settings to auto-locate, and voila, it worked.

Restored my 1.4 backup, did the same thing. It works fine. All is well!

I will look into it eventually, but honestly it's not a very high priority. Most independent app developers only get paid by displaying ads. By blocking ads from displaying you are basically stealing the app. Independent developers spend a lot of time working on apps for us to use, taking away their source of income is not cool.

Anyway to turn off the camera button from starting phone notice it turns on while in my pocket. Will like to disable it but cannot find it in settings.
