Ubuntu Touch

Is this even possible on the Evo? I know it says GSM only right now, but should I get my hopes up? I have never ported anything - would it be possible for me to get it running on the Evo LTE?

check the XDA forums they are got one ported and working on the bugs

I think one of the bugs is HBoot 2.09 - I just flashed it and all I saw was a black screen.

Ubuntu didnt work ? sounds more like a lcd deiver issue

I was reading on XDA and it looks like people are getting it booted. I am thinking about going over there again and seeing if they made progress.

Keep in mind that even if they get it fully working, there's so much missing from ubuntu touch at this point that it's unusable (no 3g, no videocam, no calender app, no music player, etc etc)

Yeah, I know. I just want to play around with it and get excited for when they do decide to do a full release.
