Re: Will you upgrade to the Evo 4G LTE?
1. No (Epic 4G with CM9 on it)
2. Most likely a, maybe c
3. No. I will probably get a case anyways not only to cover that glossy portion of the backside, but to also protect the camera lens from getting scratched.
4. The possibility that they may take a while to unlock the bootloader which may or may not affect how active the developers are for this device.

Re: Will you upgrade to the Evo 4G LTE?
1. Yes, og Evo 4G.
2. Most likely yes.
3. Yes, I'm more likely to purchase it, compared to the specs/reviews of the HTC One X--SD slot, larger battery capacity, and kickstand all helped to make me want this more.
4. Would like to see better LTE coverage and real-life battery performance. Luckily, Sprint's WiMAX coverage in my area has been mostly good, so if that's any indication, I should have LTE coverage not long after the 4G LTE is released. - 04-05-2012, 01:12 PM #9

the two-toned back is ugly as !!! also, no option to remove the battery??? that's all I needed to hear! I won't be stuck waiting forever for the phone to reboot in a bad situation when I could just pull the battery. and what about the situations where during flashing it's NECESSARY to pull the battery??? I've had a few roms that were like that. I was all set to buy one as soon as it came out...despite the ugly two-toned back. But the moment I read the battery is hard-wired I changed my mind. Nice one, HTC!!! You turned a loyal HTC user with that decision. - 04-09-2012, 12:42 PM #21
Re: Will you upgrade to the Evo 4G LTE?
1. Yes, a 3D owner. (The 3D is a gimmick, and I never use it, but it's still a really good phone. Best phone availble on Sprint for a while last year.)
2. d) I want to, but I'm under contract until 2013. I'll consider the off contract pricing and how much I could get for my 3D. Hopefully Sprint makes some contract change that allows me to get out of my contract early.
3. When the blurry-cam pics came out, I was hesitant, but now that I've seen the official press shots and the hand on videos, I'm ok with the redesign. It looks pretty nice. But I'm going to put a case on it anyway, so it doesn't matter to me. The kickstand is BOSS!
4. The biggest thing is my contact situation. I don't have WiMax in my area, so not having LTE is par for the course, and at least I have hope that I'll get LTE. Another factor, I have to convince my wife that I need a new phone.

Sprint is is still doing the early early upgrade program until the 15th of this month I believe. If you call sprint and talk to someone insisting about the buyout program they'll transfer you to someone who knows their stuff. At the very most you'll be paying 165 for the buy your way out of the contract. But at the very least it'll be cheaper than off contract priceing.
Search for " sprint Early buyout program" on Engadget for more details. :-)Thanked by: - 04-09-2012, 01:34 PM #24
Re: Will you upgrade to the Evo 4G LTE?
1. Yes (EVO 4G)
2. Yes
3. Yes (better for real-world than orig. One X design)
4. Nothing. 7 May = I fork over money for the pre-order, period. - 04-09-2012, 01:36 PM #25
