Default Release Date, impressions, and decisions...

I ran into an HTC rep at Best Buy today and while he couldn't tell me when the release date was, he did say that they would be announcing the release date on Monday when pre-sales begin. He also said that the release would not be long after the pre-sale begins. I get the feeling that it will definitely be in May.

He did not have an EVO yet but I got to see his One X and the screen was amazing. Camera was extremely responsive, sense seemed to be really responsive, and I did not think that it was too big at all.

After the GS3 event I was leaning towards the GS3, but now having seen the HTC screen and camera in person I am back on the fence. I think that it is going to be a very tough call between E4GLTE and the GS3.

I also ran into a HTC rep at an at&t store.... I wanted to check out the HTC One... And see what the EVO 4G LTEs screen wld look like, man it looks awesome! Anyhow the rep was testing out the EVO, and LTE was shaky at best due to it not being fully launched yet and he said its a great phone and will be coming out soon, wld not confirm a date... Cant wait to atleast preorder!!

Yea I was just doing a little checking. T-Mobile announced the One S on April 18th with no pre order, but you just have to pick it up at the store when it released on April 25th. That's just a little over a week.

Move to AT&T. April 22nd is the pre sale date and May 6th is the reLease date. That's a 2 week window.

Now let's move to Sprint. May 7th is the pre sale date. So that would make May 18th or 20th a reasonable time frame.
