Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
On July 28, 2009, Sprint Nextel Corporation acquired the outstanding shares of Virgin Mobile USA, Inc. in return for Sprint Nextel stock valued at approximately US$5.50 per share of Virgin Mobile common stock.[7] Prior to the purchase, Sprint Nextel owned 13.1 of Virgin Mobile USA.[8]

Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
That doesn't explain why the phones have the Sprint logo on them. They've had the Virgin Mobile logo on them thus far because it's a sub-brand.
Anyway, back to the topic of the thread. - 06-12-2012, 09:30 AM #581

Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
How do you prevent the screen from going dark when you are using the phone? When placed near my face the screen goes dark, move it away it comes back on. I know it has to do with the proximity sensor, i do have the Zadd HD on, it's not covering the sensor. How do i fix that issue?

Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
@amywineberry: I had the EVO 3D last year and like the device. The 3D function was a bit of a gimmick and I ended up not using it after awhile. Anyway with the EVO 4G you get the lastest device with more camera functions and a better screen. It will be bigger than your EVO 3D and LTE (which has not launched anywhere yet) vs Wimax 4G. If you live in a Wimax 4G market and are getting good service you might stick with the 3D. If you like the lastest HTC has to offer then the EVO LTE is for you. : )

How do I delete multiple emails on my new EVO 4g LTE?
Just got my new Evo 4g LTE - and love it. I'm a pretty intuitive guy, but just can't figure out how to easily delete multiple emails without going through them one by one....and I don't want to do that.
How is that done O wise one? - 07-13-2012, 09:18 AM #595

Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
I have tried 3 of the latest high dollar bluetooth headsets but none work in hands free mode. While I can hear phone in headset, phone doesn't hear through headset. Phone mic stays active. So, using Vlingo in car mode creates problem. Headsets work fine on phone calls.
Any suggestions on fix? - 07-18-2012, 01:02 PM #600
Re: I've got the EVO - ask me anything!
My wifes phone quit on her. I'm on my 3rd phone & now my wife is going to be on her 2nd. Any others had this kind of issue with theirs? My 1st is like my wife's first, it just quit. My 2nd never would update any emails. BB replaced my 1st 2, Sprint is replacing my wife's for $35. Everyone says these are good phones, no issues. Maybe i'm jinxed
