    Ordered the second day, 5/8 @ 2:30pm ET, and no UPS tracking info...guess there are a huge number of pre-orders, or they're working at a glacial pace. So far I've got nothin'.

    My order says "In Process"
    My Credit card hasn't been charged.
    I am disapoint.

    If you look at my screenshot, there were some other numbers, but they didn't refer to anything that I could find. Account number was there, redded out the last couple digits of it.

    Basically, in so far as UPS tracking number availability is concerned, there doesn't appear to be any consistency with regard to when the original order was placed. Go figure.

    Well yea but out of everyone here, only 1, maybe 2, people have tracking so far.

    I have tracking info and says the label was created on 5/12/2012.

    The number is just your account number. You really don't have to go through some of the extra steps. Just do step 4 with your account number.

    Is it a good indication that the phone will be shipped soon if you credit card gets charged? My card didn't get charged till two days after me placing my order, so I am hoping it means that my order is filled and should be shipped soon, if not already.

    For those who are trying to figure out the shipping status based on order time...

    I received my "Thanks for your order" e-mail at 9:04 EST on 5/7 (that's 4 minutes after it was open for pre-orders) and UPS is showing nothing, and I've got nothing from Sprint.

    I've just got my finger crossed that it will show up tomorrow whether I get an e-mail or not.

    My email confirming my order was received 5/7 @9:03am and no tracking info on UPS.com so its either random or there were a ton of orders right at 9am on the 7th.

    I would not take it as an indication of anything, except that Sprint now has your money. They charge for the phone first thing on pre-orders, not when it ships or is about to be shipped.

    I ordered May 7 about 1-2 minutes after the pre-orders opened. I guess that was early enough. Hopefully the UPS tracking stuff is correct. But it is just that the label has been printed. UPS is still waiting on the package to arrive at it's location.

    And it's not the order number, it's the [HL]account number. No dashes, 9 digits.[/HL] I feel like some people are still trying to put in a different number.

    Bottom line, there is no rhyme or reason as to who has a tracking number, and who doesn't.

    If Sprint ships phones to stores for sales to walk up customers and leaves pre-orders holding back order slips, there are going to be some irate customers.

    That kind of bad faith business dealings could be enough to push me over to the competition.

    IF that is the case, then Sprint deserves whatever customer fallout occurs. Personally, I don't think any company this size could be that stupid, but we'll see.

    THERE IS NO DELAY WITH THIS PHONE.

    Sprint put out a list of stores opening early on Friday to sell them. There is no way Sprint would do this if there was a delay and stores would get them before pre-orders

    Some of you guys are really ridiculous.

    The release for the phone is Friday, May 18th. Let's forget the fact that today is TUESDAY... but by pre-ordering, you aren't guaranteed that you'll get your phone BEFORE the 18th. I mean cheese and rice - on the 7th the release date of the phone wasn't even announced yet!! By pre-ordering you just guaranteed yourself a phone when it is released!

    I'm just as excited as everyone else to get this phone, and if I don't get it by EOD Friday, I'll be pissed -- but like I said, today is TUESDAY.

    Take a step back everyone. It's a phone. You'll get it. And guess what, if you don't... YOU WILL LIVE.

    I understand what you are saying but some will and others won't. It is just a phone and my OG EVO works just fine. I can still make calls, surf the net, read emails, play music and games, etc. I'm sure most of you can do the same.

    The only recourse is to leave Sprint.

    As much as it may tick me off that people may get them in stores before I would, I am not going to leave and pay tons of extra money to another carrier just to win a moral victory.
