Re: Shipping notification....Who's first?
It seems a bit odd that the shipment originated in Amarillo TX before going to Sprints/UPS warehouse in KY. I've flown into Amarillo several times and they don't strike me as a major import/export hub for a global company like HTC...
Since the reference was "HTC", even if it was an EVO it could be going to someone else in the same zip code. There is nothing to tie it to their sprint account...
Who knows. Best of luck

Re: Shipping notification....Who's first?
Sorry guys, doesn't look like anyone's getting one today. I ordered first thing when they were available and I'm in Louisville, KY. UPS just came and left after dropping off a single unrelated package.
Tomorrow seems quite possible, we'll see! - 05-22-2012, 12:56 PM #1233

Re: Shipping notification....Who's first?
I always love these threads. Same thing every time.
1. Someone claims to have a tracking number and impending shipment.
2. People call him a liar or stupid.
3. Someone claims to have received the phone.
4. People call him a liar and demand proof.
5. Blurry photos are sent taken with the cruddy prior owned phone or their daughter's iPod.
6. People doubt the picture.
7. Turns out to be true.
8. A bunch of people yell at the doubters (even those who doubted but now deny they did).
Think that covers what we're about to see. We're now at Step 2.

Re: Shipping notification....Who's first?
If anyone ordered through Sams check your email received an update about an hour ago.
"We do not have a definitive delivery date yet, but we’ve done this many times before and we can assure you that the phones will literally spend about 1 hour in our distribution facility before we ship them out the door." - 05-22-2012, 01:20 PM #1243
Re: Shipping notification....Who's first?
I'm tempted to take this down the "when I was a kid, we only had phones attached to the WALL INSIDE THE HOUSE - and the receiver (the part you listened/talked on) was attached by a LONG TWIRLY CORD!" road.

For the kids that complain when their parents take their upgrade, show them a picture of a rotary wall phone and tell them to keep quiet unless they want it to be their next 'new' phone.I can either be 'smart,' or I can be 'pretty.' Today, we're going with 'pretty.' - 05-22-2012, 01:24 PM #1244
