I was told that pre orders will start shipping at 3pm et. today and I was able to get my reff. number. they also said that they have more up to date info then sprint because they are the ones to ship them out. so they are going to start shipping at 3pm.

Just going to throw this out there: they probably have no idea what they are talking about.

I'll cross my fingers that I am wrong, but all signs indicate this isn't going to be a one day speed bump. I just hope we get them before June

reff. number? As in tracking number or your account number? Please elaborate

Unfortunately, I'm in agreement with you. I hope, but I doubt. An android community article pointed out that the HTC One S should be undergoing the same scrutiny, but it's on t-mobile which doesn't carry the iphone. Which, to me, suggests that Apple is targeting these phones so they don't hurt iphone sales. *this is purely my paranoid speculation and there is no hard evidence to support it*

Well how many digits and what format is it? Look it up through UPS? For the record I think you're smoking something, or are confused about the information they gave you.

I'm pretty sure the reference # is the case reference #. In other words, if you call back in that is how they can find information about your previous discussions. It doesn't necessairly relate to an order. I actually think we would get a shipping confirmation long before the base line CSR is aware the phones have shipped...whenever that is. There are just too many levels between the base line CSR and the people who actually know when the phone will ship.

Certainly not your fault they gave misinformation. Everyone's anxious to see when they're finally going to start shipping, so it was interesting to see if anything panned out.

lol, I'm doing the same thing. But I've basically been sitting here doing nothing all afternoon, because I've had no calls. Well, besides constantly refreshing my email and the AC forums to see if anything has happened.
