I DON'T like the way it has been changed. Until you can add your own, it's less functional than it was before.
Before, I get an email from twitter saying someone followed me. I tap the name, it brings up a menu and asks if I want to open it with twitter, another twitter client, or any browser.
Now? A browser window opens, meaning I lose functionality.

You Still Get To Designate What Links Open What. There Is Just A Work Around, And You Have To Program It To The App, In A Section Called "App Associations."
Yes (at least i think so), but Apple decided to shoot directly at HTC.

i have sense 3.6 and 4.0 on my HTC EVO 3D, and ive tested the new settings..You can also change what app opens a link. i like it.
