Wirefly Pre-orders

okay its sunday .. no shipping notification .. and i ordered on 7th ...

so far i was willing to give wirefly benefit of doubt with their late responses to the situation but not anymore ... this sucks ... i hope wirefly rep can reply to what happened ...

Ok... Been in 1 Walmart and in 3 best buy stores yesterday... One store had them, but had issues with my account when I got them resolved they were sold out... Next store did only preorders.... Next store did only preorders....but good me a bb near by still has 4 left... It was already 8:55 so Nö chance in. Getting.g there... They told.me they open today at 12... I Roy le checked later online and it said 11 am... So I drove there this morning 10:45.... A lady came in around 11 but told me they don't open before 12... Eventhough bb online said 11... But she will hold one for me till the rest of the day... So now I am sitting at Mc d. With my 7 year old and 2 year old to wiser a hour.... And the journey... Carries on....I have never had so much trouble getting a phone... Wifey thinks I am crazy...

Tomorrow is going to be like a mini christmas for me. I finally get my new evo 4g l t e and I finally get the I c s update to my motorola Xoom. Go figure, I've waited about half a year for ice cream sandwich on my Xoom and I'm going to getbit the same day I get the phone I've been waiting a month for. Woohoo

I chatted with customer service,which is very annoying.They all use the same Im sorry script. They said they will get their next order friday. God only knows when I see mine. lol

Well good thing I also preordered from BB on Friday. I was called to pick up my phones on Saturday, (and still nothing from Wirefly). I just cancelled my Wirefly order and will never use them again. Also, after the $50 gift card, it was the same price, so there was really no advantage on sticking with Wirefly.

Just received my Evo! Feels amazing

I think all in all, 50 dollar savings was worth a few days extra wait. Hope the best of luck to all of you still waiting, hang in there.

I feel for those of you that haven't gotten it yet. Picked mine up at Best Buy on Saturday on a Thursday night in-store pre-order. I was a little worried about them not having enough; they called all the preorders to arrange appointment times for Saturday and I chose 2:30 even though there were earlier times available. But they had all the preorders marked for each person, so there was no chance I wouldn't get one. And I also got the $50 gift card applied at purchase, so other than some sales tax, it was the same as Wirefly.

Got mine almost an hour ago and this thing is awesome! Wirefly still hasn't charged my account for the $119, Sprint wanted $226 including tax when I went to pre-order so it was definitely worth the wait. This is easily the nicest phone I have ever touched.

Anyone know why Sprint told me not to turn on my old phone for 24 hours? A couple contacts didn't get transferred.

Ok. This is definitely good news, and it does make me feel a lot better about Wirefly. Let's hope they come through on their promise.

well mine shipped today ... ordered on 5/7 - they said some system glitch prevented mine from shipping out ??? they even gave me an ESN/ IMEI number when I asked to be assured that mine was allocated from the 1st shipment ...

Mine is being delivered today.
Got a call yesterday afternoon, wirefly verified shipping address etc. and ~poof!~, my order status changed to "shipped" and I have a tracking number!
Pre-Ordered on 5/9 at about 1030am.

Wow setting a reminder to NEVER use wirefly. I feel so bad for yall preordering and getting shafted while people like me walk into sprint and pick one up on launch day. What a botched release IMHO.

I don't place much blame on Wirefly. I do appreciate their communication, even if it was a bit belated...

Yeah .. can't really blame WF ... the savings I guess makes it worth not getting it on launch date... like I've said before.. I'm sure a lot of people have perfectly useable phones and can last a few more days until we get our hands on the new evo. It's not going to change many peoples lives drastically to the point where they needed it as soon as it hits the shelves.. it'd be nice to get it on the day it was released.. but it's not holding me back in my day to day life :P
