Hey everyone, I dont have any more info to post. We are waiting on Sprint to get us the phones. AS SOON as we get them, we will start shipping them. Not trying to be difficult, but I honestly dont have anything more than that to tell you. We were hoping to hear from Sprint today, but at this time they have not told us anything. I am sorry for the wait - I sincerely wish we had them to ship out to you all. If you have a specific issue with your order, Please PM me the order number and I will be happy to look into it for you.

As soon as I have info, I will post it so you all know about the phones and when they will start to ship.

I figured it was Sprint, #1 in customer dissatisfaction. I love how Sprint boasts about being "most improved in customer satisfaction", it is like being the best smelling ****. . .you still stink.

at least a rep from wirefly is updating us directly here in the forum. i don't see any amazon rep updating ppl in the amazon pre order thread. i think they are even more clueless than us. haha.

Seems plausible...maybe that's why HTC's initial wording was some phone's were released from customs.

Thanks for posting this. This may clear up the delay dilemma. Makes me feel better to know ANY updates. Wish Sprint had just communicated that. Hopefully we'll get an update from WF tomorrow.

Damn ! I'm moving this weekend out of town. If it dont ship out to me by Thursday i will have to either cancel the order or change shipping address, but i dont want to take a chance my order being borked by wirefly for doing a change of address
+ i havent changed my address with me bank yet either so that would screw things up even worse. I may be SOL !

The only part Wirefly played in this saga was not keeping its customers updated and they seem to be doing better now. They don't control when the orders get shipped to them. It would seem Sprint is the biggest offender here.

If the above story is the issue, then all Sprint would have had to do was release a statements saying that not all devices had been released from customs and when they are Sprint store and third party distributors would be addressed.. That would have avoided A LOT of confusion and frustration.

I've gotten one email on the 22 saying they have cleared customs and should be on the way. This guy wirefly hasn't said any more than that. I don't even think this guy even works for wirefly, send em your order and what's he gonna tell ya? My local best buy doesn't even have them yet either, so I'm not even sure all of them have cleared customs yet.

Android Central, Phone Dog, and Phone Arena are reporting that all One X and Evo 4g lte have been released by Customs today.

I'm so tempted to do this, but I don't want to have to spend another 40$ (not a lot, but the whole reason I ordered from WF was the 150 deal they had). And then if I preorder and best buy doesnt have any, i'd be maaadddddd!

    Thumbs up Re: Wirefly Pre-orders

    Updated customs info:

Customs stops delaying HTC One X and EVO 4G LTE devices after 'review'

HTC-branded crates have been trickling through customs for ten days already, following a total clamp-down earlier in May, but it's only now that they're able to pass through without lengthy extra checks. The manufacturer says it has "completed the review process with US Customs" and that it is "confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products." That obviously raises the question as to why the HTC One X and EVO 4G LTE devices were held up in the first place. The ITC had earlier ruled that HTC infringed on an Apple patent about data detection, concerning a handset's ability to recognize and move around personal data, for example between the contact entry and the calendar, and it had given HTC until April to remove that feature. HTC agreed to that, but it appears customs officials initially needed to check every box to ensure that products arriving in the US were of the compliant type. Meanwhile, the LTE part of the EVO 4G is still waiting for its luggage.

I dont get where this is sprints fault in any way...no one is forcing you to buy the phone, sometimes the cheapest way isnt the BEST way.

The only thing I was upset about is the lack of communication. Sprint and Wirefly are both guilty of that.

Well it is Sprint's fault in a way because they are the one's who provide Wirefly with the phones and they aren't giving any information out to Wirefly regarding the issue and this is making Wirefly keep US in the dark.

Sprint announced a release date of 5/18 then 5/24, Sprint sold phones to customers before they had them in possession, I've gone over this a dozen times.. Not to mention I get my phone service through Sprint so they are held responsible, just as my cable company is responsible for my cable box and DVR and all that. "Sometimes the cheapest way isn't the best way". . .what does that the price I paid for the phone have to do with anything? If I had bought it at full price I would have the right to complain? That doesn't make a lot of sense. . . And obviously you're waiting on your on your phone from Wirefly just like me, because I am sure you have better things to do than troll the Wirefly defending Sprint as if they care about you.

I don't mind Best Buy getting them, but Walmart? It's nice to know I am waiting on my phone while some toothless trash has the Evo in their cart next to the pinto beans and canned meat. lol
