Re: Amazon Preorders....
Not sure what they have to be fed up about , since it is their job to handle calls from customers about transactions. Without us calling in they would have no job to be fed up with. I do believe Amazon did offer this product for sale and took orders for the product.

Re: Amazon Preorders....
Got a couple of replys to any email that I sent earlier today , First was another apology about the delay and an upgrade to one day shipping . Uh wait a minute I wasalready at one day shipping so that was confusing . The email also mentioned that there would not be any new info until they recieved more inventory. Wait they had inventory ? A little bit more confused now I sent another email. Shortly thereafter I got another reply once again apologizing for both the delay and the miscommunication about the one day shipping and the fact thet they had prior inventory , and I was ofered a $15 promotional certificate for my trouble... Hmmm I wasalready given one promo cert.. now another ? Guess I will have to getsome more clarification .. Ha..Ha.. at this rate I willget the phone for free if it ships in July LOL !!!!!!

Re: Amazon Preorders....
I emailed this morning and got the same canned response, so I called and the c/s person I spoke to said that their delivery had cleared customs so they were expecting to be shipping soon! He said to keep checking my acct the next couple days! Here's hoping!

Received the same responses as u guys. Only my $15 voucher will only apply to new orders. Like after this I will ever order thru them again?
Pretty much over this phone as it is. It's just gonna be a cool new toy for awhile then turn into my og EVO that I get mad at when my alarm wakes me up. Get scarred up by dropping it a few hundred times, etc.

Morning!
Now that the customs thing is completely over, maybe we'll hear something today or tomorrow?
I hope htc hauled *** to get shipments sent out the minute customs gave the OK. I wonder will they go to Sprint first, then they send out to the 3rd party peeps? Or will it go directly from htc to 3rd parties?

Good questions...

Who knows if we'll even hear anything today, with the way things have been going.
I think I'm going to check Wal-Mart today and see if they have 1 in stock I can buy outright. If the price is right, I'll get it on the spot. If nor, I guess I'll be waiting to see what news Sprint & Amazon have for us.Device 1: HTC Supersonic/PC36100 (EVO 4G) | Hardware Version: 0003

Re: Amazon Preorders....
After trying to get any answer from amazon and getting nowhere, I called a Walmart nearby (South High St, Columbus OH) and they had them in stock. Got in and out in about an hour and the phone was only $158. So if you can I'd call a Walmart (unless you live in California and they rip you off in sales tax) and see if you can get around amazon.

Re: Amazon Preorders....
Those are the people I feel the worst for! So crappy to be treated so differently from those who pre ordered online, if anything it should have been the other way around not that either would be fair either, all pre orders through sprint should have been treated equally.

Re: Amazon Preorders....
Spoke with Amazon rep again earlier today, you're all not going to believe this, but they still don't know anything. I know, shocking stuff there. To their credit, all of the reps have been very polite and seemed genuinely like they wanted to help, as did the one manager I spoke with. Should anyone in upper management ever read this, please know that the real harm you have done to potential repeat customers is your decision to not give your customer care reps the info to successfully do their jobs.

Re: Amazon Preorders....
Yes a real recipe for failure...
- 05-30-2012, 10:14 PM #123
I believe they know nothing. The real truth is the higher ups don't give a shat about distributing to Amazon, Wirefly, or other 3rd party online retailers first. They care only for the brick and mortar monopolys best buy and Walmart.
Now, maybe best buy, but Walmart? Screw Walmart! So a redneck dumb *** gets a phone before me by accident? Look maw, that phone is shiney like me bass lures! Thank I be getting one fer all me fakebook dealings!
Ridiculous.... Not to say rednecks don't need phones too. Y are we suffering for being ahead of the curve and ordering weeks in advance just because we ordered thru a "respectable" source?

Re: Amazon Preorders....
You think they know nothing? You think that NO ONE at amazon wireless knows where those thousands of phones are? If you're the CEO of AW, you don't get ahold of that info? Please. And even if that IS true, release a message saying that sprint won't tell you anything, at least say SOMETHING. if sprint is willing to leave you hanging, feel free to return the favor.

Re: Amazon Preorders....
I would defintley say this has been a fiasco at the least. I think this is the most bizzare release of a product that I have ever seen. It is almost like Amazon wished the phone never existed ....
