radio signal strength compared to Epic 4G Touch

Hi, Can anyone test to see how well this phone works in places where you used to struggle getting a signal with the galaxy sII? The reason I ask is that I've lately seen people able to use other phones on sprint in places where I can't get a signal (albeit they have a very weak connection but a connection nonetheless). Thank you.
